At The Nimble Thimble we stock a wide range of JANOME sewing machines at competitive prices. We use them ourselves in our courses and at home, so we can recommend them with confidence. We also stock a range of accessories, feet, carry cases and tables. Sewing machines have undergone the same kind of electronic revolution as every other kind of device over the last ten years, and it is well worth trying our demonstration machines to see what difference this makes to ease-of-use - and price!

We can arrange servicing and repair of any make of sewing machine at a fixed price.

We carry a wide range of needles for every type of project. It is important to remember the effect a blunt needle can have on the quality of your finished work - experts say it should be changed after every completed quilt! We often come across people who were unaware, of this and have never changed their needle since the day they bought their machine.
