Manos Del Uruguay Lace yarn is an opulent blend of 70% baby alpaca, 25% silk, and 5% cashmere, kettle dyed and supplied in 50 gramme skeins providing around 400 metres.

The yarn is is ideal for your finest heirloom projects, hand dyed in large kettles to create a marbleised, subtly striated effect that forms a rich palette of glorious colours. Available in 12 shades, both solid and marbleized, no two skeins are exactly alike and there are no dye lots.

We recommend buying enough yarn to complete a project. If there is a great difference between skeins, we recommend knitting two rows from one skein and two rows from another skein to give an overall blended effect.

Hand wash only and dry flat.
Knit at 32 stitches per 10cm row for a tension test using 2.75mm needles.
